Re: Why Fevers?????

I have also had intermittent low grade temps. I tend to get sick alot so I just kept thinking that I was getting sick again and then it would just go away. (it is often accompanied by a slight sore throat).

This has been going on for a couple of years, only I was just diagnosed with Endo 2 weeks ago. I have also had really bad night sweats on and off (mostly during my period) for the past few years. After my recent lap (during ovulation) I felt like the heat was emanating off of my body so much that people could see it:) and my husband tells me I'm on fire (it's not just because he thinks I'm hot). I think there is definitely something to the whole inflammation and immunity thing. I just started reading the most recent book from the endometriosis association and it had some good info on immunity and endo, it kind of explains the fever thing. Also, if you look into TCM (traditional chinese medicine) inflammation is described as heat and most with endo are considered to have excess heat.
