Sadly, my surgery was postponed for the second time today because my father suddenly came down with a 104 degree fever and the flu last night, and he was going to take care of me and help me to recover after my surgery. I was so upset and distraught that I postponed the surgery. He is feeling a little better, his fever was around 101/102 today, but it is still high for someone in their 70's. I feel so horrible and guilty that he is sick - and I feel like the strain of me being sick and awaiting surgery did not help. I pray that he is better quickly, and that I can have my surgery again quickly. This time, my brother and my husband have volunteered to help with my recovery. I hate being such a burden to everyone, and I hate this disease more than anything else.
