Re: Why Fevers?????

Yes, I have the exact same problems with fevers and body temperature, and my doctors are mostly clueless. I've been told that it could be caused by inflammation without an infection and that could raise the WBC, too.

I've been in pain mangement for a few months and have found that since the pain has been more controlled at least the sweating hasn't been so bad. I asked my pain doctor and he said that pain can also cause sweating, although he didn't explain why.

But I'm still having trouble like you describe with my body temp - it's like my thermostat is broken. I wear so many layers my boyfriend laughs at me! (in a nice way:) I wish I could tell you why, but I haven't been able to find an answer. If you go back a few weeks on this group there are some other posts from other people about the same thing.

I agree, it's very frustrating and I'd love to find an answer!
