Lori- I'm so glad that you have finally found someone to listen to you. As for the Lap... I think that it's probobly the best way to know. no way would i let someone treat me for something without proof of what they are treating for. And the lap is such a routine procedure and the recovery time is short. And becuase she is so young she will probobly bounce back quickly. As for Lupron...the reason that i opted not to go that route is because i really looked into this drug first and the side affects seemed to much for me. Other than the emotional issues there are many many physical side affects possible. I recomend that you take a good hard look at all of the information out there regarding Lupron before you make a final decision. Good Luck!!!!!

>>Hi, I am a mother of a 14yr old daughter in may of 2006 she started getting urinary tract infections which would reoccure every month at the same time but nobody told me that when they sent the culture out there was no growt. as the months went on her period would get worse and she would not be able to urinate at all only trickle she would cry with discomfort and stabbing pains. I took her to a gyn. she never even examined her she just put her on the pill. my daughter still suffers with this problem and it seem that nobody will help her. her pediatrician kept asdking me if she was sexually abused. I could not believe that they were so persistant on that question without doing any other tests to find out what was wrong now they have my daughter beliving that she is making this up somehow that she should see a shrink. I am so angry . I sit up with my daughter almost every night while she puts hot packs on her stomacvhe and cries every time she has to pee. she has missed out on school dances and making friends because shes always sick . Why wont anyone help her I feel like i am in the twilight zone of a different era.where theres no medical technology. she is going to see a urologist on wednesday but i know they will probaly send her home with some kinda meds that wont help her. please someone tell me what to do
