Hi Moon

My doc said the same thing but he is afraid to do the hysterectomy yet because I am still "young" even if I am turning 40 this summer. I get migraines so most treatments that affect the hormones are out of the question. Also he says that a hyst this early will lead to definate osteoporosis...but who knows, I know women that had hyst earlier than 40 and they are fine well into their sixties.

The surgery doesn't guarantee anything but for most women I am told it helps. I would do it tomorrow if I had the option. I have already had two surgeries and six months of Synarel and still the pain just gets worse.

Really evaluate it all and make the decision that is best for you.
