Re: blood in urine NO infection

I had chronic blood in the urine for a few years, the doctors kept treating it as a bladder infection and it was not. I found out I had endo and they did a cystoscopy to look for endo or IC in the bladder and nothing was found. (thank goodness). My urologist and gyn said it was due to the pelvic endo. I had excision surgery at the CEC 4 weeks ago and there was a urologist in on the surgery looking for causes of the blood in the urine, what they found was a chronic infection in the outer layer of my bladder, caused by being constantly irritated by the endo, the did something in the surgery for it and now I have been on antibiotics for it for 30-60 days.
