Re: anyone experience sudden weight gain???From: M (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Mar 11 19:11:33 2007
I had gained some weight too. Then I had found out back in Nov of 06 that I had an 11cm mass on one of my ovarys. I had surgery to remove the mass & ovary. That is when I found that I had endo. My doc said that my stomach would feel lighter and people kept saying that I would loose weight. But I really didn't. I have tried BRT treatments for pain,etc... and it doesn't seem to help me that much. However it did help me to learn my body type and how to eat & exercise for my body type. I used to be active and I was big into ballet and hip hop, but I stopped dancing. I too have blood wrk checked for my thyroid, but like you said it always comes back normal. I'm anemic so I just go back every now and then to have my blood checked. So I know how you feel. It sucks that so many other problems seem to come with endo. If you need someone to talk to feel free to email me.
