Hi Nic~
Sorry you are struggling with this part of your disability.
Unfortunatley, it's hard sometimes to find Dr.s who are taking medicare
let alone medicaid. When I had it before my disability was approved the
only care I could really get was at the county hospitals and it was
poor.
I just held off until a few years later when I got married and we use my
husbands insurance only which luckily happens to be a good one. The
other option may be to look into a state funded insurance plan (however
the premiums may vary from state to state) This may give you some PPO
type of coverage that will allow you to travel or see whomever you need.
I know it's hard. I will be thinking and praying for some answers for
you.
