Hello all... I've been driving myself crazy trying to find a doctor that will take my medicaid. I'm in NYC and I looked both on the EA's list of doctors as well as the Forum on Yahoo. I also looked at the Endovictims list. I've called most all of the doctor's to see if they take Medicaid...and none that I've called do. Does anyone else have medicaid that has found a good surgeon that takes it? I've had 2 surgeries already, they were done by doctors that were NOT Endo specialists and so after the surgeries my pain came back immediately and even WORSE than it was before (which everyone kept telling me was impossible...yeah right!). I really want to have an Endo experienced doctor so I don't have this happen again. I feel like both surgeries were a total waste, but at the time I felt like I had no choice (I was in the ER and they told me I HAD TO have them) The only thing I know is that Endometriosis was diagnosed in the biopsy. Also does anyone know if medicaid will let you travel out of state, if, for example there is no one in my state that will take my insurance. (for goodness sakes there must be SOMEBODY that does). I'm in so much pain ALL THE TIME, and I've tried hormones and don't want to do that anymore, besides they never really worked for me. I really think I need a surgery by someone who knows what they are doing. I just want to be my normal self again! Any comments would be helpful. Thanks so much. -Nic
