Tara,
I am sure the tension and stress of knowing you are going into surgery
soon is not helping with your pain. Perhaps you can make an appointment
for a nice, gentle massage or two in the meantime. Try to treat
yourself to some relaxation when you get home from work. Maybe some
time in bed with a good book, hot pad, and cup of tea. Just think in a
couple of weeks you are going to be on the road to feeling better.
