'mysterious infections'

I have a question for anyone who has Endometriosis...I just joined the forum...I'm not sure if there is any information on this anywhere else....Every couple of months or so...and I have had "good years" where this hasn't happened at all...But I have been admited to the hospital several times after coming in through the ER complaining of severe acute abdominal pain...vomiting (sometimes not always). Usually I have a fever and my bloodwork will come back abnormal with high white blood cell count. I have heard a myriad of diagnoses...none of which seem to be correct. I just had my appendix out so in the future this will be ruled out. But still there have been times that the doctors have told me I have appendicitis and need to have it removed, on many occasions I opted not to have surgery because I didn't believe that I had appendicitis...well I'm still alive and I've had this situation happen many times and can't figure out what could be causeing these mysterious bouts of intense pain/fever/high WBC/vomiting etc. Maybe someone else has had the same experience? I know that I have Endo (I've had 2 laps) I also know that I get ovarian cysts that will grow to abnormal sizes and rupture (very painful) I was just wondering is anyone else knew anything about this....it seems everyone with an MD, PhD or whatever advanced degree still cannot tell me what is wrong enough to warrent "exploratory abdominal surgery" each time (and thank goodness I have gone against medical advice on this because I literaly would have had about 15 of these surgeries!) Any idea what is could be?
