(1997) Hysterectomy and EndoFrom: KL (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Feb 19 23:37:02 2007
Hi I know this may be redundant although its a lot to search through. I had a total hyst. everything including cervix removed in 1997. When I originally was diag. with endo it was because I kepy having bowel problems. When the Dr did the hyst. he didn't think to prep me for the bowels. He said there would be a 10% chance I would end up with endo. I believed I still had endo after 7 months of the hyst. He said there was no way. Now I have had many bowel problems. Diarrhea since Sept. painfull sex, and cramping. I've been poked and prodded for everything pertaining to bowels. I've had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, bowel xrays, and they found nothing. So it dawned on me could it be the endo, so I went to a GYN she told me its possible but to stop the hrt and get a lupron shot and see if the diarrhea stops. The diarrhea has been off and on now for a month. Its getting soooo old. I don't know what to do but I still believe that its the endo. The Dr. said she would have a Gen surgeon do a bowel resection if things get better. Should I just have them do a lap first? I feel better having a look rather than going extreme. Any ideas? Thank you! K.
