Heather, I was on Seasonale for about a year. The first three months I had the same issue with prolonged bleeding. My doc basically chalked it up to your body trying to do its normal thing and fighting what you are telling it to do with the pill. The next 3 month cycle was better, but my periods were insanely bad and I eventually got to where I was having alot of between period pain and cramping. I am not a fan of Seasonale at all and have gotten negative reactions about it from other doctors since I took it. Some girls here really like taking Yasmin continuously and my new gyn as well as my RE both recommended Loestrin continuous bcp's. Alyson
