Re: Sciatia Endometriosis

Hello. I may have some experience with that. I have pain in my left hip, butt area, sometimes it's a dull ache, othertimes it feels like a throbbing headache. I went to my regular Dr. about it and he said it was periformis syndrome and sent me to a physical therapist-one who happens to be the best in the city. He is actually the reason I decided to have my first lap to find out if I had endo or not b/c when I saw him he told me he has a couple patients with the same problems and after having a lap found it was due to endo. I swear that man knew exactly where to press to make the pain so intense. So, after surgery, it didn't help. All of the dr.'s I have been to think I'm crazy to think that the two may be related. I have been to my regular dr., the physical therapist, an orthopedic surgeon-I've had an MRI, x-rays and even a steroid shot under CT scan in my SI joint-nothing came out of any of these things. It's really annoying, even if there is no pain, I can not bend back for more than an inch or two, otherwise it's like I get this pulling in my hip that gets more intense the farther back I go. I've given up now. I'm sure sometime in the near future I'll have to have surgery again and when I go I will be mentioning that and telling them they need to look in that area to make sure there is no endo there. I had surgery a year and a half ago and I have a nodule in my cul de sac-I know I had it before my surgery but not sure if it came back or was never taken care in the first place. Good luck, I hope you are able to find the answers!
