This is a first for me. I had lap surgery on 1/11 and was diagnosed
with Stage IV endo. The surgery itself is not that bad, recovery time
is only a few days. Unfortunately my symptoms have not gone away
because of how much is actually in there and they weren't able to remove
it via lap. My next surgery with now have to be a full surgery to
remove the endo that's left and possible a full hysterectomy. I am 38
yrs old with 2 beautiful daughters. I realize now how lucky I am to
have them as doctors think I've had endo since being a teenager. I am
testament that you can have endo and still conceive. Good luck with the
surgery. The only thing that I would've done different is give them
permission to do the full surgery before I went in but unfortunately I
hadn't even heard of endometriosis prior to the lap. They actually
thought I just had a large mass on my fallopian tube prior to 1/11. Now
I know I haven't just been going crazy all these years. Good luck with
the surgery. Hopefully it will help with your pain.
