I had a lot of pain often with deep penetration as well. It was like
someone was hitting me with a knife. I used to anticipate it and that
made matters worse because my muscles did not relax and I ended up with
burning pain everywhere. I did not want the intimacy to stop because we
had just gotten married last year.
I had an excision lap (my first one) in November. Doctor showed me what
had been causing my pain on deep penetration afterwards. Since the
excision, I have not had that much pain at all. I still was not
relaxing after the surgery expecting pain so ended up with burning pain
from being too uptight -- doing things slowly and lubricant, helped me
relax and eliminate the pain. For the first time in my life, I know
what real intimacy means!
Before the surgery, we basically tried positions which did not hurt me
as bad and tried to take things slower.
Best of luck.
