Hi Ashley,
I too have stage II endo. I share many of your same symptoms. I have
been going through pure hell for the past 4yrs. Usually when you have
endo you also have something else combined with it. I was recently
diagnosed with PCOS, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. They are cyst that
grow on your ovaaries and burst from time to time which of course causes
pain, along with weight gain, hair loss, skin tags around your armpitts,
darkening of the skin, etc...
In my experience, Dr's are complete idiots and do nothing but make you
feel even more crazy or your just a pill popper when really all you want
is relief from the pain.
I am on OXY's too and continually take birth control pills so I don't
have a period because I get violently ill when I do have one!!
My new Gynecologist tells me the only cure for ENDO is getting pregnant.
Untill your reday to get pregnant it's pain pills, advil, and birth
control pilss.
I have been on Danazol and Depo Prevera and that did nothing more than
cause weight gain. I was 24 and went trough menopause. I'm actually
lucky to have a great boyfriend who is somewhat understanding (he is a
man)but still doesn't quite get it. I don't think anyone does really
unless you experience it.
I would get to the Dr. if I were you and get complete blood work done
on all your hormone levels. PCOS causes more male
hormones(testosterone). If your hormaones are outta whack, you'll be
feeling it. Trust Me!!
Good Luck!!

>Hi pam,
>My name is Ashley, i had stage 3 endo removed nearly a year ago, things still aren't much better though and i am still seeking help as now my specialist thinks the endo may be inside my bowel. Anyway about your problem yes i have had that feeling many times generally leading up to my period or during it. It is the most unusual uncomfortable feeling but i never found any answer to relieve the symptoms. I told a few people what i had experienced but most of them kind of laughed and didn't take me seriously. I know this wont help you but i just thought i would let you know your not alone and it is real. Any other questions feel free to email me.
