Hello Melissa,

I understand your reluctance to see a conventional dr., I will get back to this in a second...but you need to see one. It definitely sounds like you may have endo and this should be addressed by a regular dr and if possible a holistic dr as well. I have suffered from endo for 10 years+ and the mix of eastern and western medicine, I think, is the best approach. I only use the conventional dr.s for diagnosis and the two laparoscopy’s I have had and yearly visits. I see a little chinese dr. close to my house who is awesome; he treats me w/ herbs and acupuncture, which help w/ pain and giving me energy. One of the best things I recommend is doing all your homework on endo, go to the bookstore and get books, get online, etc... Doing this you will learn as much if not more than the dr's. Another thing is your diet....if you don’t eat that well, you will need to change this. YOU MUST MAKE YOURSELF HEALTHY AND ONLY YOU CAN DO THIS. It is very hard but soooo rewarding. I, myself, don't even follow a complete endo diet, it’s very strict and too boring if you ask me, but the food you are putting in your body has a major affect on the endometriosis. You will or should find that WHEAT, DAIRY AND PROCESSED SUGARS are major no no's. I hope this was not too much info and please contact me directly if want, I don't mind talking or typing...crimsonissne@yahoo.com....GOOD LUCK!!
