Hi, I'm new to this site. About 5-6 months ago I started noticing a lot of cramping and very heavy periods, then in Nov 06 after intercourse I had very sharp pain that caused me to barly move for a week. I saw my regular obgyn who thought it was systs but after doing a sonogram didn't find anything abnormal. She told me that there could not possibly be anything else wrong with me that could cause so much pain! I got a second opinion and and my new doc told me that I have all of the symptoms of endo. The pain is everyday now, sometimes just a little and sometimes so extreme that I have to curl up in a ball. I have Laparoscopy surgery scheduled for 2/9 and I am terrified. I have never had to have surgery. I know I have to do this to get a definite diagnosis, and not to mention I do not have kids and I do want them someday. I am 26 and I had a miscarriage 1 year ago, and I am afraid that this had something to do with it. Anyone who could maybe share their experiences with me about the surgery would be helpful.
