Hi
My name is Ashley, I am 19 andi had stage 3 endo removed nearly a year ago, things still
aren't much better though and i am still seeking help as now my specialist
thinks the endo may be inside my bowel. I had a laparoscopy when i was 16 and was diagnosed
with PID but when my pain got worse and worse i went back to seek a second opinion.
When i had my second lap(18yrs) was when they discovered the stage 3 endo and my specialist tells me
hes 99% sure i was misdiagnosed the first time and if he had gotten it sooner it would not have been
so servere. Im not a doctor so i cant tell you what you should do but i would not wish what
i have been through on my worst enemy and the journey isnt over yet. If it had been found sooner it would
have saved me a lot of emotional and physical pain not to mention days off work, emotional and finacial stress
on me my partner and my family. Hope this helps.
