Re: growing endometrioma

I had an endometrioma removed on my left ovary in 1999, and conceived 2 cycles after the surgery. The bigger it grows, the more damage it may do to your ovary. I would not wait. Also, you should take care of yourself first. You may find relief from your symptoms after your surgery and be in a better place to conceive and carry a pregnancy.

Also, I have an endometrioma on my right ovary now, which tends to leak every once in a while, causing extreme pain. Just another reason to get it looked after sooner than later!

Good luck! I think you will feel better emotionally if you look after this problem, instead of worrying about it growing and worsening.

BTW, your extreme pain you have every once in a while, could be the cyst leaking or it could be related to ovulation.
