Endo returning while on Lupron?From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jan 27 21:24:55 2007
Hi, I had my first lap this past August, but after the surgery my pain wasn't any better, and so I started taking Lupron in September. Lupron made a huge difference, and my pain was substantially reduced. In the months before I started Lupron I had chronic pain in one specific place in my lower left abdoment, and the pain would get a lot worse during sex or when I had bowel movements. Since starting Lupron, until last week, those things have not triggered any additional pain, and overall my pain has been much better. But in the last week, my pain seems to have returned with a vengeance, in the exact same spot, and it is again being made worse by bowel movements (at least now I'm single, so I don't have to worry about painful sex ;). This seems like it's probably the endo returning, but I don't understand how - I've heard that endo regrows when you stop Lupron, but how could it recur while I'm still on it? Has anyone experienced this before? I'm seeing my doctor on Wednesday, and I want to be informed, but I'm not finding anything on the internet about this. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks, Amy
