Re: ENDO AND OTHER HEALTH PROBLEMSFrom: Tara (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jan 27 01:10:39 2007
Hi Peggy, After reading your post, I was struck with dejavu! I have a lot of the same problems you have! I have had dizzy spells ever since I was a little girl, and within the last 2 years my doctor ran a ton of tests on me to figure out why I was fainting and having dizzy spells. Turns out one culprit was my blood suger. I have hypoglycemia and that really effects me. Along with this, I have very low blood pressure--originally my doctor was very worried I had some sort of heart problem and did a million more tests. Nothing was ever determined as far as that goes. Both of these problems I had before I was diagnosed with endo, but seemed to be getting worse. I also have the tinglying feeling and numbness feeling throughout my whole body. It feels like my legs and arms are asleep, and are very painful to move. I once thought I might be having some sort of stroke because the whole right side of my body went numb. This happened 6 months after my lap and diagnosis and my doctors are completely unsure of why this could be happening. They want to run some more neurological tests because endo is often linked with many neurological diseases such as MR and Lupus. I also have extremely bad migraines. However, I still don't know exactly why. I also read the other post that suggested it could be due to anxiety and panic attacks. I've never had high anxiety, but I think dealing with extreme pain for so long can definitely stress our bodies out and exhaust them to the point that nerve pain (tingling, numbness) is a bi-product of dealing. I plan on getting all my symptoms checked out to make sure I don't have a neurological problem on top of my endo, just because I have read that it is linked to many disorders. My doctors are just as stumped as me it seems, but know it isn't normal. Feel free to email me if you want to talk more, because I have been very curious if anyone else is having this same problem. It seems so lonely when its symptom on top of symptom and no one gets it. Take Care, Tara
