The add back therapy is redundant. It takes away from the drug being fully affective. My views (and my doctors and others I have spoken to) is that if you are doing Lupron you really need to try without the add back, unless you are doing it for a prolonged period of time (beyond the recommended 6 month treatment plan). It helps with the symptoms, by adding back the very hormones that are bad for endo.
