Tamara, My husband and I had to try to figure out what positions caused the most pain and which didn't seem to cause as much. We were able to kind of narrow things down so that it was much less painful when we were intimate. For me it really had alot to do with depth of penetration. I can't say that I didn't still hurt afterward, but it was much more tolerable. I think also making sure to use plenty of lubricant helped. I am sure that by this point you anticipate this as something that is going to cause you pain, which probably adds nervous tension...which can aggravate the pain. Maybe try to stay relaxed by engaging in long foreplay and take things slow. Alyson
