Re: Chronic Bacterial InfectionsFrom: FElicia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Jan 23 15:52:28 2007
I experience the same vaginal bacterial infections every month. The only started in occur within the last 2 years. They are very embarrasing. My significan other even notices but says it does not matter to him. It matters to me. I have been to several gynos and no one has been able to "cure" me. I thought this was an infection only to African Americans. Are any of you ladies African American? I am going to try the baking soda remedies. I got so tired of going to the dr. monthly that I started only taking 3 days of the antibiotics so I can save some for the next month. I can always tell when they are about to come...right before my cycle it starts to smell really bad..during my cylcle and then afterwards. One doctor told me that it was the "blood" left in the area that was carrying the bacteria. I switched to tampons to maybe "catch or suction" out the bad bacteria but that still did not work. Then I started to think it was because I was overweight. I am all of out of solutions. Please let me know if anyone has found any solutions. Are there any responses from the year 2006 or 2007? Thanks
