Re: throwing up bc pills?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Jan 19 18:52:45 2007
Usually I take my BC pill on an empty stomach - I set my alarm for 630am and even when I'm not working I wake up to take it then I go back to sleep. I never wake up needing to throw up - it comes on after I've been up and around for a while. I don't think the BC pill itself is making me sick because it doesn't always happen, only if my pain levels are really high - I get hot flashes and cold sweats and I know it's coming. I should also say that most of the time this happens before or during a bowel movement (lovely imagery, I know - sorry), and I suspect that I've got some endo either on or near my bowels. But I'm getting off track... Can anyone tell me if inserting a BC pill into your vagina or rectum works the same as taking it orally? And how long does it take for a BC pill to be absorbed when taken on an empty stomach? Thank you!
