Hello All, I just found this page on MSN.com/Newsweek http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16565425/site/newsweek/ It is a call for essays regarding how you have survived a personal health crisis. Here is a quote from the submission request... "Perhaps you've learned to manage a chronic condition like diabetes or Parkinson's disease. Or maybe you're coping with mental health issues. Take us from the onset of your illness to the day you turned a crucial corner. What did you learn about your physical and emotional strengths? Were there people in your life that buoyed you with support or guidance? What was your medical care like? We'll run the best of our submissions throughout 2007." I don't see why Endometriosis and our struggle, the few triumphs we find through our own personal strength and the strength we find in each other would not be a valid topic for this article. It could also be an important opportunity to comment on what we often find to be short comings in our medical care. So, I would encourage all of you to put together an essay and submit it through the link above. Maybe one of us will be lucky enough to be published.
