Re: Pain in area of 'tail-bone'

Erica,
Your post caught my attention because you mentioned having to sit on a
pillow because of the pain. My pain was never specifically tail bone
pain, but started as hip socket pain and what I identify as sciatic
pain. The pain shoots down through the outside of my legs and up
through my back. But, I also have pain low in the back of my pelvis
that spreads up into my back. I went to a physical therapist who said
my sacrum (which includes your tail bone) was twisted and tilted
(possibly form adhesions, but no way to confirm that). I went through
several months of PT, which made me feel better for a bit. Unfortunately
now I'm to the point of a giant pillow in the office chair along with a
heating pad on my back and have new pain shooting down my inner thighs.
I'm also a side sleeper and find that if I spend the night somewhere
with a hard bed or on an air bed I am in excruciating pelvic/endo pain
in addition to the back pain for days afterward.
I've never been on Lupron though.
