What method did your doctor use to remove your endo? The best way is excision - it is cut out. Many obgyns use lasers, which remove the endo by burning, also called "ablation". This tends to leave endo behind as the doctors cannot tell how deep they need to go, and often don't go deep enough. It's also possible that your doctor doesn't know all of the manifestations of endo and left some behind because she didn't recognize it as endo at surgery. If you had laser ablation (or even if you didn't!) you may want to find an endo excision specialist to give you a second opinion. If you can't find a specialist near you, many of them will do record reviews. There's a link to the endodocs group at the bottom of this email - it's a good place to find an endo specialist. Hope this helps!
