Kelly, If the biopsy results come back positive for endo, it is certainly possible that you have endo in other areas as well. The only way to confirm a diagnosis of endometriosis "inside" is with a laproscopy. It can affect your fertility in the sense that it can provide a physical obstacle to conception (i.e. sperm can't get to egg, egg can't get to uterus, egg can't be released). It is also thought that the endometrial implants can alter the biochemistry within your pelvic cavity, causing difficulty with conception. There are many women on this board with endo who have been able to conceive and unfortunately, some who have not. I would wait for those biopsy results and in the meantime start researching endometriosis so that you can be prepared with questions for your doctor if it comes up. Here are a couple of good sites: http://www.morehead.org/wellconnected/000074.htm http://www.endo-resolved.com
