Hi Lisa~

No, you not the only one :). I think after all these years it's their built in coping mechanisms. My husband thinks after 17 surgeries that "one more" will do the trick. Sooner or later we come to a place of acceptance and I think it's really hard on our outside supporters because there are no quick fixes to this disease, just ways to manage it.

Tell hubby to be patient with you and I believe someone posted something here a while ago about an organization to better help the men in our lives called Mendo?

I am not sure but if anyone has that information for Lisa maybe that can help.
