Re: Endo.. SpecialistFrom: Meredith (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Jan 9 01:30:19 2007
Ruby, I am nowhere near Texas, but I suffered similarly to you. Not "officially" diagnosed, but told it was prob endo when I was about 19. After almost 8 years without insurance I was recommended by a friend to an endo specialist once I had insurance again and had to address the problem. I am now in Stage IV endo and the thought of me conceiving and birthing a child is slim to none (I did try for 7 years). Point being, my dr in NC can't really help you, but I have been beyond impressed with him. He is the Cheif of Advanced Laparoscopy and Pelvic Pain division of the Univ. of NC hospital. I trust him emphatically and am sure he could at least recommend a dr for you. I will check on my next appt, but feel free to check him out at the following website... http://www.med.unc.edu/obgyn/falcultyBios/advLaparoscopy/steege.html Please contact me with any questions or if you just want to talk! Love, Meredith
