(I've been gone for a while ladies. sorry.)

Shannon,

I have been on continuous BCPs for over 6 years now. I haven't had any side effects that I know of. With all BCPs you will have certain side effects, but nothing from the continuous cycle of it all. I am currently on Yazmin. My Dr. has seen reports and results that it helps women with endo. She did inform me that some women who are after the 3 day periods with certain new pills on the market like I am. It might not be possible with women who have heavier periods or issues. Typically it is for women who have normal easy periods. They might not make a difference with women like us. but with the continuous pills that I am on, I only get 4 or 5 periods a year anyway. Not a bad trade off.

I would keep an eye on your hormones, weight gain, and any leg or arm cramping you might experience. As with regular usage of BCPs you can get blood clots, and depending on your job and other lifestyle it might increase your chance at that. I work sitting down for 12 hours a shift 2-5 days a week. but I haven't had any blood clots either.

good luck, I hope it helps you the way it has helped me.

Jen
