Continuous cramping is a symptom of endo or some other problem, I don't think it's from the pills themselves. However, BCPs can cause bloating, bleeding, sore/swollen breasts, they can cause acne and they can clear it up, too. It depends on the particular pill you are on, and how it interacts with your own body chemistry. A pill that works perfectly for one woman may cause unrelenting nausea in another - the only way to know for sure is to try. There are also monophasic pills, which deliver the same level of hormones every day of the cycle, and multiphasic pills in which the hormone levels change over the course of the monthly cycle.
