I was just in your situation about a month ago. Do not remove them yourself. The stitches are to desolve,but when you go to your post op appt your doc will decide to remove them if needed. Mine had to be removed. No big. It may look weird but it is better for the doc to see them as they were, then they can mess with them. :)
