Has anyone else also been told a vaginal hysto is not possible with
endo? My doctor told me if I decided to have surgery he could do it as a
vaginal/lap combo with no abdomen cut, yet my co-worker used to see the
same doc and he said he could not do hers that way. (she ended up
having a full hysto with abdomen cut). I am wondering if it depends on
how bad things are? In my co-worker's case, she was in very bad shape
and it took them three times as long to do her surgery because her
insides "were like cement." I have a low Stage 3 so I am not as bad as
her. Just curious. I have heard it both ways and just wondered what
everyone else has heard? It would make sense to me that it could vary
case by case due to the amount of scarring, adhesions, other organs
affected, etc.
