Debra,

An MRI or sonogram will not diagnose Endo. I had several tests (even blood tests). MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasound, Colonoscopy, etc. None of them showed Endo. Fortunately I saw an ER doctor (he also did tests & could not find anything) who due to my symptoms told me he thought I had Endo (because I was having the same exact symptoms of his sister & that she had it. I talked to several doctors & told them. They told me he was just an ER doctor & that I do not have it & that I am just worrying too much. I finally made an appointment with a Reproductive Endocrinologist who did a pelvic & diagnosed me as having it. Of course, he did a Laparoscopy (which is the only true way to diagnose Endo) & Laser Ablation to remove the Endo.

Hope this helps!!!
