Hi Kim:

My name is Carmen, I live in Chile and as you I have endometriosis. But I'm also a doctor, and that makes it worst for me, 'cause I know many of the the complications of endometriosis and surgery. And to your question, every time you have a surgery and you are put to sleep, it's necessary to use this "breathing tube". this way doctors are sure you are breathing. Try to relax. It's difficult, I know, but you will be asleep, and won't notice a thing.
