Anonymous, I felt the exact same before going in for my second lap. I was absolutely terrified he would find nothing, especially since I had been told by my previous doctor that would likely be the case. It was a strange relief to find that not only did he find more endo, but it had become quite extensive. I think it was just a much needed validation of my pain and symptoms. It is worrisome to think you feel so horrible and the doc could come out of surgery scratching his head and telling you there was nothing there. I also found the second one more painful, and I would have to suggest that it is probably because there was so much more work to do in there. On the kids issue...my doc did tell me the best time to try is within 4-6 months following a lap. So, if you are ready now might not be a bad time to go for it! Alyson
