Just had lap November 30th....From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Dec 4 08:43:54 2006
As most of you know I had my lap Thursday. It went ok. Was a bit worse then the one I remember having in 2003. More pain and such. I went into surgery hoping I was not doing this for nothing. And when I came to I barely remember my doc talking to me. I remember sitting up the nurse shouting for some help, cause my belly button was bleeding pretty good. And getting dressed and going home. When I got home my husband told me that the doc found a extensive amount of endo. in 2003 there was only 1 spot that my OBGYN found that came back with Endo. Now this surgery was done by a different doc and she found a lot of Endo dots and such all over. :( I am so glad that I rushed this surgery. Had I not had the surgery I would never know that my Endo has gotten worse. And I was on continuous BC. Well today is MOnday. Still have the bandages on. Belly button gross and still bloody. I tried to clean it but the strips are still on secure so I will not fuss with them. I have a post op appointment Thursday. So, I will let you know what happens. She did say that now is the time to think about what we want. Kids, or Lupron shots,..... I would rather have kids. :)
