Re: Bad pain even after two Vicodin - normal with endo?

Thanks for you reply. Have you had a hysterectomy? My GYN doctor wants to do a hysterectomy, remove my ovaries, and not give me hormone replacement for at least two months to starve out any endometriosis he might not be able to see. During the gallbladder surgery, that doctor did want to remove the endo from my bowel because my bowel had no been prepped for surgery and could easily be nicked or cut. When I had my laparascopic surgery this past September, my GYN did remove all that he could see. My uterus was stuck to my intestines with scar tissue. But even though I had that surgery, I have been in pain ever since, but this last week, it has gotten even worse - unbareable. I wonder if it is because it is my ovulation week. But, I also get to the point where I wonder if it isn't something else because the pain is so bad. I have been checked for everything under the sun, so I don't know what else it could be. I have been to a urologist and had an IVP and urine studies. How do you test for interstitial cystitis?

Thanks,
