Lisa, I was on Megace for about 2 months a year ago and I recall NOT having a period. I did however experience symptoms of extreme discomfort in the rectum area and it actually hurt to be in a sitting position. After my doctor did further research on Megace he concluded that it was most likely side effects of the drug and took me off of it. Fortunately I never had the pain like that again and therefore never took Megace again. Try looking online to see what they say about Megace and bleeding.
