Re: Dealing with the stress of EndoFrom: ada (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Dec 1 12:30:48 2006
hi, I also have anxiety which I take 5mg of Lexapro for. I agree that the anxiety and endo feed into each other. How can you not feel anxious when you are in pain and still trying to function. I do know that exericise helps me the most with my anxiety. However, I do have days/weeks where the thought of going to the gym is just unthinkable. But, when I force myself it always helps. Also just reading this forum helps me as I know I am not alone and I am not crazy. I can sometimes say to myself maybe I am not tough enough, maybe I am being dramatic, etc. I realize I am not, but we can be hard on ourselves.( I am 38 married with two kids, work part time and volunteer at their schools.) Good luck and take care of yourself! >Hi, > >I have endo and also have anxiety (panic) that I'm taking an >antideprressant for. It seems that one feeds into the other.
