It's not unusual that your periods would stop - Megace is a progestin. But you do need to talk to your doctor, and it's not okay that he use moving his practice as an excuse not to care for you. Call back and demand some help, it's his responsibility to you as your doctor. If he can't take care of you he should direct you to another doctor who can, even if only temporary..
