first notice of endo -- specialists in Austin, TX?From: becky (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Nov 30 14:30:33 2006
I've been having pain in my lower right pelvic area for about a month, went to the obgyn and he said "Something's there that shouldn't be there. Your uterus is tilted b/c it's being weighed down by something." Had an ultrasound that same day -- just got the results: nothing showed up. I was told that endo was a definite possibility according to my symptoms (lower back pain, pinching, dull pain in abdomen). After freaking out, researching endo on this website, and freaking out some more, I scheduled a lap with my obgyn (which he recommended). He's a fertility (or infertility?) specialist, and I'm scheduled for Wed Dec 6. But after reading the posts here I'm afraid that he may not be a specialist in endo and therefore not remove everything that needs to be removed, or do it incorrectly, or not see what he should see, etc. My doctor is Wayne Ingram of Austin, TX. If anyone knows anything about endo specialists in the Austin area, or about my doc in particular, or even a website that would give me some tips on finding out, please let me know. Thanks so much!!! becky
