Terry,

I'm in the same boat. It is now November 29, 2006...I have gone through two HORRIBLE miscarraiges (all miscarraiges are horrible). I was looking online for causes and cures of miscarraige. But not just "normal" miscarraiges (if that's possible). My scenario is similar to yours.

I first became pregnant in September 2005. I wasn't planning on getting pregnant. I was religiously taking birth control pills. I never missed a pill, until the night I went into the ER and found out why I was in so much pain. The doctors thought that at first it was an eptopic pregnancy. Once they took the ultrasound, they realized I and the baby (4 wks) were fine. I saw the heartbeat and was ecstatic! 8 wks. later (when I was approx. 12 wks. pregnant). I went in for an ultra-sound, because the night before I started bleeding. We were told that the baby NEVER had a heartbeat...and that it was a chemical abnormality. The baby was only 5 wks along before it died in utero. I to misoprostale (to encourage labor).

The second time I became pregnant, I wanted to! It was February 2006...I went to my PCP, and had to be referred to an OBGYN. I saw the same one that I saw before with my first pregnancy (I was NOT happy with them to begin with). I was considered "high-risk" because of the previous pregnancy. I went in optimistic, and very excited. I went in, and was told that there was no heartbeat. The baby was only 7 wks. along (two weeks farther than the previous miscarraige). I again, took misoprostaile.

My fiance and I can't figure out what's wrong with us, or if there even is something wrong. We have no problem getting pregnant. We've gotten pregnant at least 3 wks after we start trying. But I just can't KEEP the babies alive. I know that this post is 7 years after yours, but I'm hoping that you found some information that helped you. And if you did, please, pass it along to me.

Thank you, Marnie
