There is a great website called http://www.hystersisters.com. Check it out-all kinds of great advice and forums for women who have had or are considering hysto. I will be facing one in the next several years-whenever the endo gets me to the point I can't take it anymore. I have found some great info here during my research.

Also as a positive thought: I have one good friend and one co-worker, both of whom had complete/total hystos due to endo. A year to two years after, both of them still feel great. Trust me, I pump them both for info all the time!

Good luck with your surgery. Let us know how you are doing. Hugs! Amy Meyer
