Could all this be related? >Marie Hi marie, does sex hurt/feel uncomfortable? If so than yes pleasurless sex could be endo related. Even if your sex issues are not endo related your fertility issues may be. If you have been trying for a year you can go to your GP and ask for a referral to a fertility specialist. They will do blood tests to check your hormone levels are normal. They will also do ultrasounds and tests and maybe a small surgery to make sure you ovulate regularly, have clear fallopian tubes to let the egg pass from the ovaries to the uterus and check your womb for abnormalities. They can also check your partners sperm count and health but even if your partner is not initially happy about that idea, still go for your own healths sake - nobody will force your partner to participate. If you have endo it may be picked up during a laperoscopy (the small surgery I mentioned above). These tests will give you a good starting point in your quest for pregnancy and may also help you with your lack of pleasure from sex (which is common with endo). There is lots that can be done to increase the chances of falling pregnant. Many people just need to see a fert specialist for a short while and have some minor help. You have age on your side so make the most of it!! Good luck, Angela
