Hello--I have been told my intestines were inflamed but in my case the doctor was going only by symptoms because I don't have insurance and couldn't do any tests. However that was a year ago and I hadn't been diagnosed with endometriosis--I think it is probably more likely my symptoms were from that, assuming that is what I have. I have been diagnosed with an endometrioma based on ultrasound and I'm supposed to have laparoscopic surgery next week to confirm the diagnosis and remove it. You should ask your gynecologist of course, but I think that endometriosis should not cause inflammation inside your intestines, which is what a colonoscopy would show. But endometriosis could definitely be on the outside of them and thus make your symptoms even worse during your period. If you have symptoms mostly during your period, it seems to me that endometriosis must at least be partly to blame. At Thu, 26 Oct 2006, Holly wrote: >
